This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies Houskey uses, what they do, and how you control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy (linked below).
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as localStorage. We group them by purpose:
- Strictly necessary: required to run the service (e.g. keeping you logged in and secure). These do not need consent.
- Analytics: help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Marketing: used to measure and tailor campaigns.
2. Consent
Under the GDPR and the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet), non-essential cookies and scripts require your prior, specific, opt-in consent. Houskey does not set analytics or marketing cookies unless you have opted in. You can give or withdraw consent per category at any time; withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place.
Houskey uses strictly necessary storage to run the service, plus the analytics and marketing technologies listed below, each of which loads only after you opt in to that category. We will ask for your consent before introducing any further analytics or marketing technology, and this notice lists each one before it goes live.

We will add a row here for each further analytics or marketing technology before it is enabled, including its name, purpose, provider and retention.
4. Managing cookies
You can manage non-essential consent through our cookie controls, and you can change your choices at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the service from working.
5. Changes
We will update this notice whenever our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
